Winter League 1 Results

Published by Pat Macleod on

Our Winter league got off to a flying start last night in Bishop’s Cleeve, on a chilly but at least dry evening. Tom Cochrane planned a challenging course, with plenty of decision making and route choice required to get maximum points within the hour. Honours go to newcomer Nick Hudson, on a break from serving in the Army in Northern Ireland. Nick also took the newcomer spot prize. Other spot prizes were awarded to the runners visiting control 28 earliest (Hils Nicholls) and latest (Rhiannon Fadeyibi) on their routes, and jointly to Helen Gould and Cathy Lewis from Tewkesbury, as a loyalty prize for regularly running maprun as unattached competitors.

You can find event results on the Winter League Results page, and after league 2 we will be adding a league table of current standings.

League 2 is in Stroud on Thursday 29 November. Get the date in your diary now.
